QI Materials Receives Order From HPQ Silicon Inc.

Lachute, Québec, December 20, 2023 – Québec Innovative Materials Corp. (“QI Materials”, “QIMC”, or the “Company”) (CSE: QIMC ; FSE: 7FJ) is pleased to announce that HPQ Silicon Inc. (“HPQ”) has placed an order for high purity quartz material from QI Materials Corp.

From the Company’s current stockpile of high purity samples, QI Materials Corp. will provide HPQ with approximately half a tonne of high purity quartz material. The material will be used by HPQ in their production of engineered SiOx materials for battery anodes and fumed silica via HPQ’s proprietary Fumed Silica Reactor.

(“HPQ”) which allows HPQ the Right of First Refusal to purchase the first 10,000 tons of high-grade silica material extracted from a QI Materials Corp. silica project.
